How to Dominate Any Niche Online
Here is the definition of the word "niche" (Source: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=niche). niche ( P ) Pronunciation Key (nch, nsh) n.
Your task as an online marketer is to find this "demand for a product or service". "How?" I hear you asking. Read my article "How to Read What People Have In Mind" at http://turboreferer.com/turbozine/archive/24.shtml Here is another way you can use too: Go to WordTracker.com or click here: http://turboreferer.com/r/wordtracker Notice the marquee at the top in that page. This is the list with the Top 50 subjects people from all over the world search for more information through the search en gines. Take a look and you'll see the following listings too (as of today Saturday, January 17, 2004). dogs 38 Believe it or not, people search more for subjects related to "dogs" and "lyrics" and "cars" than to "How to make money online!" I remind you that Corey Rudl (you know him, right?) created his fortune with his famous "Car Secrets" ebook - that was more than 8 years ago. There is a gem of software called "Good Keywords" through which you can see how many people search for the specific keyword you are interested to through many search engines. Download it here: http://www.goodkeywords.com Open it and type 'dog' in the search box, then hit "Go!"
Now type 'cars'
Also type 'lyrics'
Impressed? You should be. So... By using 1 site (Word Tracker) and 1 software (Good Keywords) you can find what people want, can find the "demand for a product or service" as this demand is displayed through the searches in search engines. What's next? You have 2 options (I am copying from the message I sent yesterday to one of my subscribers - hi Chad!): You must decide how you want to proceed to: - either as an affiliate - or as a merchant.
Or open the "Best Free Ebook", find the ebooks - Affiliates Masters Course by SiteSell.com - How To Make Profit From An Affiliate Program by Dirk Dupon and - The Affiliate Marketing Primer by Sherry Gordon Download the ebooks and read them. By reading all the aforementioned resources, you'll be able to find how you can proceed as an affiliate. If you want to make sales as a merchant then you have to create YOUR product. Read my ebook (download it here: http://snipurl.com/3o4t) and see how I created a product in some days and got a profit up to $1400 in 16 days. It's not that much but it can help you to see what to do, you can get an idea, and much better: you can duplicate the process working with products for a different & specific niche (other than the one of 'Internet Marketing'). There is also Michael Green's guide on how to create and sell your products online you can find at http://www.turboreferer.com/r/howtocorp30
Okay... You either decided to work as an affiliate or to create your own product for meeting a "demand for a product or service" and make money by targeting a niche. If you choose to work as an affiliate, there is no need to create a website at all - although if you do you'll increase your sales (read on and you'll understand how). All you can do is to use the Adwords service at http://adwords.google.com, create your account (you must have a credit card), bid for a keyword relevant to the subject you're promoting and include your affiliate link as the URL. If you have downloaded my "Best Free Ebook" open it, find the ebook "How I Threw $2470.06 Down The Google Adwords Toilet!" by Neil Shearing, Ph.D and download it for free. Read it and you'll learn how to use that service. BTW, you can download the Best Free Ebook here: http://www.best-free-ebook.com - Or you can use the marketing material offered by the products/ services you want to promote (ads, solo ads, articles, etc.) and send your ad to ezines. Again, open the Best Free Ebook, find the category 'Ezines related', download & read the relevant ebooks. You can send your ad to this newsletter for fr ee. I publish the first 3-4 ads I receive after sending each issue. - Or you can include your affiliate link in your signature in your email messages. For example if I promoted a product for dogs my signature could look like this one: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Or you can participate to forums, post your messages, help people or ask for questions and do include your affiliate link in your signature. NEVER advertise your affiliate links or your products in forums - NEVER. Use your signature effectively instead. On the other hand, if you choose to create your own product, you'd create an ebook with information about this "demand for a product or service" for the niche you're targeting to. You could create a collection of resources (links) and ask for a fee for allowing people to browse them; however you must include TONS of links as your links must be worth the price people will pay for. Search the net and see what it's already been offered about this "demand for a product or service" for the specific niche you've chosen to deal with. Go to http://alexa.com and download the free toolbar. If you visit a site and the rank in Alexa is LESS than #50,000# then that site is a "money making site". Find the best sites for the product you want to focus upon and create your site by applying the best of what you see applied online. Tip: Also read the article I sent you last week "How to Create Your Own Viral Ebook" at http://turboreferer.com/turbozine/archive/34.shtml Create your viral ebook and include a link in your signature (for your email messages and when posting in forums).
Tip: Mini sites sell. If you want to work as a merchant you need to create just a simple page with some graphics and just Sell your product or Capture the email address of your visitors. See some examples of mini sites here: http://software4profit.com/bikini You can also read Phil Wiley's ebook on Mini sites (that's classical) you can find here: http://www.turboreferer.com/r/minisites You can use this strategy (creating a mini site and use the strategy "Sell or Capture") while promoting a product as an affiliate too. Do NOT just send people to the site of the merchant. Create a mini site instead, plug an autoresponder in your page, capture the email and address of your visitors and then re-direct them to your affiliate URL. This way you can FOLLOW UP with your visitors later on with a new product to promote (either as a merchant or as an affiliate). If you don't have a clue on how to capture your visitors' email addresses and names read my article "Is the King an Idiot?" at http://turboreferer.com/turbozine/archive/28.shtml Tip: If you are a newbie and know nothing about HTML and how to create a site, you'd consider getting a service like Ken Evoy's SBI. Check it: http://buildit.sitesell.com/associatescenter.html Tip: As a merchant you must be able to accept credit cards online. Visit this page: http://software4profit.com/payments.shtml And if you need help for your hosting or any other technical matter related to your site visit this page: http://www.software4profit.com/setup.shtml Tip: For getting traffic to your site, open the Best Free Ebook, and read the ebooks under the category "Traffic". You can also use a tool like TurboReferer at http://turboreferer.com for rewarding people when suggesting your site to their friends. Tip: You can also use 'Special Offer Manager' for promoting either the product you sell as an affiliate or your own product. Creating a Special Offer with SOM is a piece of cake. http://specialoffermanager.com
Now... Let's summarize. - You found a "demand for a product or service" by using "WordTracker" and "Good Keywords". - You decided to work as an affiliate and include your links to Adwords in Google.com or even send some ads to ezines for quick profits. - Or you decided to create your own product for that "demand" and also create a viral ebook for promoting it. You created your mini site and included the link for your viral ebook in your signature, in email messages & forums or even applied a search engine strategy by using the built-in features inside your account in "Site Build it". Did you notice anything?? This article's subject is about how to find a "demand for a product or service", create a product for a specific niche or promote a product or a service as an affiliate for this demand. Don't all the above ... 'smell' like ... 'Internet Marketing' to you??? Do you remember my article: "My early days on the Net... Part II Frank Sinatra, Internet Marketing and me..." ? You can download it here: http://affiliatescenter.com/delavera001br.zip I'll quote what I wrote in this article a year ago: ---quote starts---
---quote ends--- Quite prophetic & meaningful words, right? Can you now see why you should not SELL the "Internet Marketing" subject but INSTEAD: USE IT for promoting ANY product and service you want??? Products for dogs, lyrics and cars... Can you now see why if you master 'Internet Marketing' you can master any niche? It's the Art Of Selling on the web that when learned it'll allow you to implement all of your money making plans for any product and for any niche. Jimmy D. Brown and Ryan Deiss explain further how you can dominate a niche in their new ebook: "Niche Factors: 6 Strategies for Striking It Rich Online With Niche Products". I have read their ebook and guess what: you can find the "Horizontal & Vertical" strategy you must apply for expanding your profits either when creating products or when you're promoting products & services as an affiliate to ANY niche. You can also find all the strategies you need to dominate a niche, here: http://www.software4profit.com/p/niche/ John Delavera P.S.
